Joshua Tree National Monument Celebration Boosts Local Real Estate by Brad Schmett
Date:8/19/2013

Twentynine Palms, CA (PRWEB) August 19, 2013

Brad Schmett, Broker Associate with Luxury Homes by Keller Williams announced today that local home buyers and real estate investors are hotly attracted to the Coachella Valley area thanks to the close proximity of luxurious residences to world class locations such as the Joshua Tree National Monument. An August 25, 2013 free park entrance day encompassing all of California’s treasured national parks will highlight the advantages of owning a home within a short drive from pristine and protected desert scenery and camping amenities.

Schmett recently commented, “On the occasions when the National Park System makes these announcements, we always expect to see a substantial influx of home shoppers. Most visitors to the Joshua Tree National Monument are surprised to discover Palm Springs and La Quinta are such a short drive away! Needless to say, this is a huge draw for families and folks who revere nature. Joshua Tree is one of the most unique places on the planet so almost any event up there brings visitors flocking our direction. We are delighted to have such environmentally aware home buyers among us. The natural beauty, clean air and perfect weather keep folks coming back for more.”

The internationally famous Irish band “U2” produced an album after a visit to Joshua Tree in 1987 called “The Joshua Tree” having become enamored with the beauty and scenic panoramas of the nearly 800,000-acre park. Encompassing some of the most unusual and exquisite geologic displays to be found in California, the Joshua Tree National Monument is a favorite with academia as well as with stargazers. Known for the clearest and least diluted night skies, Joshua Tree is the place to go for celestial viewing all year round.

The August 25 free entrance day is open to one and all and will be followed by the September 28 National Public Lands Day, also a free day to the general public. The
