ALIQUIPPA, Pa., March 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. Jonathan Finder of Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC will provide pulmonary consulting services for Point Pleasant pediatric special care located in Aliquippa (Hopewell township), Pa. The 70 bed pediatric community opened in February 2008 and is licensed to provide long term and transitional care for medically fragile children. It is the only community in western Pennsylvania specifically designed to provide long-term care for ventilator-dependent children and young adults
Dr. Finder is a board certified Pediatric Pulmonologist who graduated from Yale University and Albany Medical College. He completed his internship, residency, and fellowship from Massachusetts General Hospital. Joe Coyle, President of Point Pleasant Management Company, states, "Dr. Finder is a nationally recognized and well-published Pediatric Pulmonologist, who will be an outstanding addition to our Medical Management Team in Pittsburgh." Dr. Finder will collaborate with the facility's Medical Director, Dr. Jacqueline Saladino, of Sewickley Valley Pediatrics.
Point Pleasant pediatric special care, has headquarters in Radnor, Pa, and also operates three Point Pleasant pediatric care communities in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and one in Lancaster Pa. A Philadelphia location is scheduled to open in late 2009.
