John Harden of The Signature Group Receives CCIE Certification

Vienna, VA (PRWEB) September 16, 2013

The Signature Group, Inc. is pleased to announce that John Harden, a strategic Network Engineer for TSG’s Professional Services organization, has achieved his CCIE® Certification (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert). This prestigious certification recognizes an individual’s expert network engineering skills and knowledge of Cisco products and solutions. In order to receive a CCIE, candidates must pass a written and hands-on lab environment.

"Passing the CCIE was a huge validation of my skills and preparation. The effort was by far the toughest professional achievement I have pursued. Along the three year journey, I was able to use a lot of the skills and deeper architectural understanding I was developing in real-world scenarios for my clients. Although I considered myself a strong candidate for the certification when I started, I definitely have a greater appreciation for the certification. I feel my need for initial research on projects is cut down substantially with a deeper understanding of available network technologies." stated John Harden, Network Engineer for The Signature Group, Inc.

Mr. Harden came to The Signature Group from Fujitsu North America where he was a Network Architect and Senior Data Center Network Engineer responsible for leading a team of engineers in the design and deployment of multiple large scale $100 million dollar contracts. He also has deep Data Center Security, PCI, Cisco ASA and PIX Firewall experience. John was a recognized Nexus subject natter expert within the Fujitsu North America organization.

At TSG, Mr. Harden is currently engaged in public sector contracts for universities and Department of Defense clients designing and building next generation networks and data center infrastructure on an international scale.

“The Signature Group is proud of Mr. Harden for obtaining such a prestigious certification. We are honored to have him as a part of our Professional Services Team.” remarked Earl Moses, Vice President of Professional Services.
