HATBORO, Pa., Nov. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- InfoLogix, Inc. As Vice President of Strategic Healthcare Services for InfoLogix, Mr. Way will be responsible for the full scope of InfoLogix's healthcare mobility and consulting organizations, including the integration of current EMR, strategic cost management and healthcare technology services; the development of new professional services offerings; and executing the company's transformation to a full healthcare solutions provider with the ability to positively impact every operational area of hospital facilities nationwide.

"We're pleased to welcome Jim Way to the executive team as we enter the next phase of InfoLogix's growth," said David Gulian, President and CEO of InfoLogix. "With our established footprint of over 1,500 hospital customers nationwide, a seasoned EMR implementation team with highly-sought skills for meeting ARRA stimulus requirements, consultants who have helped improve hospital financial performance by 4-10%, and our ability to help hospitals successfully formulate and implement mobility strategy, we've built a strong foundation to deliver one of the most compelling offerings in the healthcare industry. Jim has the unique pedigree and experience to help make our vision a reality."

During his 14 years with Siemens Health Services, Mr. Way was part of the senior management team of the fastest growing service division within Siemens, representing over $100 million in revenue and 750 employees. In addition to leading and managing all IT operation functions for 43 outsourcing sites, serving over 100 hospitals and 800 clinics, Mr. Way has also served as CIO at St. Joseph's Hospital in Lancaster, PA, as well as Regional CIO of Information Services for Franciscan Health System in Exton, PA.

"InfoLogix has one of the most exciting market opportunities I've seen in my three decades in the healthcare industry," says Way. "Our nation's hospitals are among the most complex organizations in our economy, and the myriad of 'point solutions' being directed at them are destined to fail or underachieve as they're too narrowly focused. InfoLogix has the unique ability to touch all areas of a modern healthcare system, all the way from clinicals management to receivables, and to drive a solution that truly increases patient safety, quality of care, and the financial health of the hospital itself. I'm honored to join the InfoLogix team and drive the vision forward."
