10-year, Sole Source Agreement Supports JHSMH IT Strategy

PLANO, Texas, Oct. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Perot Systems Corporation (NYSE: PER) today said that Jewish Hospital & St. Mary's Healthcare (JHSMH), a leading health system based in Louisville, KY, has selected the company to deliver information technology services under a sole source contract. The financial terms of the 10-year agreement were not disclosed.

Perot Systems will create a centralized information technology environment designed to bring the benefit of systems predictability to JHSMH, and will manage IT services such as data center operations, network operations, and the help desk among other functions. Perot Systems and JHSMH worked collaboratively to create the arrangement to support the health systems' strategic IT objectives. As a key part of the engagement, Perot Systems will be responsible for the technology integration for JHSMH.
