Japantown Dental Introduces New X-ray Machine
Date:6/24/2013

San Jose, CA (PRWEB) June 24, 2013

Japantown Dental, a family dentist serving the San Jose area, is pleased to announce they have installed a new x-ray machine. The new panoramic machine offers new and improved technology for dental x-rays.

The panoramic machine is compatible with CAD/CAM technology, meaning that it will allow the dentist to create digital impressions of teeth and then design an inlay, onlay, crown or veneer much faster. It will no longer take days to have a permanent crown created.

Since the panoramic machine provides digital x-rays, patients are exposed to less radiation than traditional x-ray film. The machine allows for an overall view of the head, including the sinuses and TMJ, which will allow the dentist to make more accurate diagnoses.

The panoramic is also great for patients who have a sensitive gag reflex, as it takes the images from outside the mouth. This feature is also best for pediatric patients, as it can focus in on certain regions of the oral cavity, thus decreasing the amount of exposure even more.

Japantown Dental is dedicated to making their patients feel comfortable and stress-free when they visit the office. By continually updating methods and technology, they provide the best service possible.

To make an appointment, please call (408) 294-9944. Or for more information on the services Japantown Dental provides, please visit their website.
