ATLANTA, Oct. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Philanthropist and Academy Award-winning actress, Jane Fonda (fourth from right), celebrated heroism and "pink power" at the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Pink Tie Ball in Atlanta, GA, on October 13th, with the eight amazing women chosen as the inaugural class of Bright Starts(TM) "Pink Power Moms." The women were chosen after a nationwide search was conducted earlier this year for outstanding moms who have survived breast cancer, and exemplify courage as the fight for a cure continues. The Bright Starts(TM) "Pink Power Moms" hail from all over the country and include (from left to right): Sandra Perry (Corvallis, OR); Ouida Duncan (Lehigh Acres, FL); Sonia Kohler (Washington Township, Michigan); Cathy Gailey (Fayetteville, GA); Eliza Brock (Loveland, CO); Kerry Best Flood (Sandwich, MA); Mary Hamrick (Huntersville, NC) and Deb Kirkland (Baltimore, MD).
