Jamaican Destination Spa Offers More Than Just a Magical Experience for the Body, Mind and Spirit
Date:5/4/2009

WESTMORELAND, Jamaica, May 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Sunset Heal Mountain Retreat & Spa, in Jamaica, offers a rare healing sanctuary for the body, mind and spirit, unparalleled personalized attention, and a proactive owner committed to helping the indigenous people of Jamaica through her work at Sunset Heal.

The first thing visitors notice is the quiet, calm atmosphere. Upon arrival, guests are greeted by the owner, Beatrice Vergano, a Reiki practitioner. Rooms are comfortably furnished with a king-sized four-poster bed, complete with canopy and mosquito net. Balconies offer a fabulous view of the cane fields below and the mountain that hides the Roaring River Caves in its belly.

Guests notice an improvement in physical strength and stamina, because daily they climb 60 steps up the hill to the Peppermint Restaurant, where scrumptious Jamaican meals are served. Come nightfall, another treat is in store: The crickets, frogs and other nocturnal creatures put on a choral recital that is out of this world.

What about the magic? Besides the environment and being treated as royalty, guests experience the delights at the Lemon Grass Spa, including Reiki treatments, aromatherapy massages and foot baths, and a menu of additional options to ensure pampering is complete.

Recently, the spa has helped people with Bells Palsy and Epilepsy.
