Jacksonville's Largest Rehab Provider Acquires Largest Home Health Agency

he partnership is in response to the needs of our rapidly growing and aging community and the increasing need to establish a system of care to treat our most vulnerable populations. By the year 2012, the number of baby boomers needing nursing and therapy services in rehabilitation hospital, clinic, or home settings will increase by 26%, from 150,000 to 185,000 seniors over 65. This union allows Brooks and Home Care Advantage to provide more seamless transitions between the phases of care for patients recovering from acute illness and injury. Together, the larger Brooks employs nearly 500 highly trained and experienced therapists and nurses, working together in rehabilitation facilities or in the home to help patients return to the life and activities they love.
