Jackson Surgical Assistants Expands Its National Presence by Merging with Two Atlanta Area Practices

Jackson Surgical Assistants (JSA) has expanded its national presence in the practice management solutions arena with the addition of two respected Atlanta-area surgical assistant practices: Omni Surgical and Midtown Surgical Associates.

Alpharetta, GA (Vocus) May 28, 2010 -- Jackson Surgical Assistants (JSA) has expanded its national presence in the practice management solutions arena with the addition of two respected Atlanta-area surgical assistant practices: Omni Surgical and Midtown Surgical Associates.

This combination will further enhance JSA’s ability to provide trained, thoroughly-credentialed surgical assistants to hospitals, which - given the recent changes in healthcare legislation - are increasingly focused on ways to save costs without compromising quality of care.

“Our mission is to provide hospitals, surgeons and surgical assistants with a rigorously developed surgical assisting solution that contributes to better surgical outcomes while reducing costs,” said Paul Foster, President of JSA. “Partnering with these two well-respected surgical assistant practices will allow us to provide a higher quality of service.”

Surgical assistants are required on approximately one-third of all surgeries. These highly-skilled individuals provide services essential for the wellbeing of patients and the success of surgical teams.
