Tony Stajduhar rejoins Jackson & Coker as President of Permanent Recruitment.
Alpharetta, GA (Vocus) March 8, 2010 -- Jackson & Coker (www.jacksoncoker.com) has welcomed Tony Stajduhar as newly appointed president of the firm’s Permanent Placement Division.
“We are pleased that Tony accepted the offer to return to Jackson & Coker in a key role to build up our retained search division,” mentioned Richard L. (Rick) Jackson, CEO of the flagship firm he founded in 1978. “Tony’s breadth of experience and professional dedication speak well of his potential to take this division to new heights as a key competitor in the field of permanent physician recruitment.”
Mr. Stajduhar began his career in physician recruitment with Jackson & Coker in 1986. Two years later he was promoted to Vice President of the firm’s Northwest region. Since then, his professional accomplishments have included developing a regionally based physician recruitment firm in the Rocky Mountains into a national presence, as well as helping a large healthcare system launch an in-house physician recruitment team that within two years was placing over 900 physicians annually.
“It’s both a pleasure and professional challenge to return to the organization where I launched my recruitment career several decades ago,” Mr. Stajduhar commented. “There have been a lot of changes since I left -- including merging technology with recruitment methodology along with full-throttle participation in social media networking -- that enhance our approach to matching qualified providers with appealing practice opportunities.”
Sandra Garrett, President of Jackson & Coker’s locum tenens division, remarked, “Tony’s addition to our senior management team reflects a logical and beneficial division of labor. Both divisions of the company face unique opportunities in addressing the needs of hospitals and healthcare organizations, given the economic circumstances that have made such an impact on the medical profession.”
Mr. Stajduhar added, “Despite the current economic conditions that overshadow the healthcare industry, we’re confident that our joint focus on offering exceptional service to both providers and healthcare organizations will make the difference and give us the winning edge.”
