Date:4/16/2009

ANDOVER, Mass., April 16 /PRNewswire/ -- JAZD Markets, the leader in on-line B2B directory-driven Marketing as a Service (MaaS) platforms, today announced that David Southwick has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Sales and Service. Mr. Southwick will be focused on building out JAZD Markets' sales and service teams in partnership with leading B2B Publishers and trade associations. "Dave brings a proven career of building high energy, results driven sales teams. Dave's keen understanding of the value that clients desire from their on-line marketing spend will prove valuable to JAZD and our publication partners," said Founder and CEO, Jamie Bedard.

"I am excited about JAZD's mission to be the leading on-line directory platform focused on the needs of the product buyer. B2B buyers demand complete product information along with the right industry content coupled with unfettered access to other buyers to help them make an informed decision. JAZD is clearly the first to address this glaring need in the market," stated Southwick. "JAZD has developed a comprehensive Marketing as a Service vision and platform where B2B marketers finally will be able to drive their brand message, educate qualified buyers and fill the pipeline with real opportunities in a single on-line cost effective program. I can't wait to present this value proposition to the market," said Southwick.

Mr. Southwick brings more than 20 years of executive level experience to JAZD. He has previously collaborated with Mr. Bedard at the Aberdeen Group (acquired by Harte-Hanks) where he served as Chief Operating Officer and Head of Sales. Mr. Southwick joined Aberdeen after successfully building high performance sales teams at both Watch IT and Forrester Research. Mr. Southwick has a BA in Advertising from the University of Maine.
