JACC: Cardiovascular Imaging and JACC: Cardiovascular Interventions Accepted for Coverage In MEDLINE(R)

ST. LOUIS, Missouri, April 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Elsevier and the American College of Cardiology announced today that JACC: Cardiovascular Imaging (http://www.elsevier.com/locate/jacima) (ISSN: 1936-878X) and JACC: Cardiovascular Interventions (http://www.elsevier.com/locate/JACINT) (ISSN: 1936-8798) have been selected for coverage in MEDLINE. Maintained by the U.S. National Library of Medicine(R), MEDLINE (Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online) is a premier bibliographic database containing approximately 13 million references to journal articles in life sciences.

JACC: Cardiovascular Imaging editor-in-chief, Dr Jagat Narula commented: "We are delighted that the Journal has been accepted for inclusion in MEDLINE so soon after its launch in 2008. Inclusion in MEDLINE speaks not only to the quality of the Journal's editorial content, but to the growing importance of an integrated approach to cardiovascular imaging."
