in 2006. Revenue was higher in the fourth quarter of 2007 compared to the same period of 2006 due to the addition of new revenue generating collaborations with Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) in May 2007 and Ortho-McNeil, Inc. Isis' operating expenses for the quarter and year ended December 31, 2007 were $33.2 million and $108.6 million, respectively, compared to $28.7 million and $92.7 million for the same periods in 2006, according to GAAP. Isis includes in its operating results non-cash compensation expense related to stock options, which was $2.7 million and $9.9 million for the quarter and year ended December 31, 2007, respectively, compared to $1.6 million and $5.7 million for the same periods in 2006, primarily reflecting the signifi
