Inverness Medical Innovations to Pay April Series B Dividend in Additional Shares of Series B Stock

WALTHAM, Mass., March 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Inverness Medical Innovations, Inc. (NYSE: IMA), a global leader in enabling individuals to take charge of their health at home through the merger of rapid diagnostics and health management, intends to pay, to the extent declared, dividends payable April 15, 2009, on its Series B Convertible Perpetual Preferred Stock (NYSE: IMA-PB) in shares of Series B stock. Inverness will pay cash in lieu of any fractional shares resulting from the dividend.
