Inverness Medical Innovations to Participate at JP Morgan Healthcare Conference on January 13, 2009

WALTHAM, Mass., Dec. 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Inverness Medical Innovations, Inc. (Amex: IMA), a leading provider of near-patient diagnostics, monitoring and health management solutions, announced today that it will attend the upcoming JP Morgan Healthcare Conference being held January 12 through 15, 2009 at the Westin St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco. Ron Zwanziger, Chief Executive Officer, and Jon Russell, Vice President, Finance, will attend. Mr. Zwanziger's presentation is scheduled for Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. PT, and will be made available to the public through a webcast accessible via http://metameetings.com/webcasts/jpmorgan/healthcare09/directlink?ticker=IMA, as well as through the company's website at http://www.invmed.com/investors.cfm. A replay of the webcast will be available via the links above for approximately 3 months from the date of the webcast.
