Inventor and InventHelp Client Develops Alternative Alarm Clock for Heavy Sleepers (CLT-683)
Date:4/15/2016

An inventor from Charlotte, N.C., has developed an alarm system that makes it easier for heavy sleepers or those with sleep problems to wake up in the morning. Ideal for use by individuals who are heavy sleepers and those with sleep issues, such as sleep apnea, the design helps to ensure that the user gets up on time to attend work or appointments. It also is great for use by individuals who sleep with a partner, so as to not wake the other individual up. Easy and convenient to operate and use, it is producible in design variations.

When asked how the inventor developed the idea, he explained, "I was inspired to develop this idea because many people complain that they do not hear the alarm and end up being late for work or other important appointments. My idea helps people to wake up on time, especially heavy sleepers, those who suffer from sleep apnea, and those who are sleep depraved."

The original design was submitted to the Charlotte office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
