InventHelp® Client Develops Portable Sanitizer for Handling Children (DLL-2480)
Date:8/13/2013

Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) August 13, 2013

Every new parent only wants the best for their baby. This means keeping them out of harm's way. One of the dangers our children face that we normally don't even think about is the germs clinging to our own clothing. To keep children safe, an inventor from Denison, Texas, developed the Germ Shield.

The accessory provides a quick and easy way to sanitize clothing while on the go. The invention saves the user from having to wash or dry clean clothing as often. It prevents infants from being contaminated by an individual's clothing, which lessens stress and offers added peace of mind to parents and caregivers. In addition, the device is producible in different sizes and styles.

The inventor's personal experience inspired the idea. "After my second grandchild was born, everyone wanted to hold him," she said. "Even though they sanitized their hands, their clothing still had germs on it. That is why I invented this to sanitize clothing."

The original design was submitted to the Dallas office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
