Intrepid USA Healthcare Services Appoints Kathy McKnight as Chief Operations Officer

DALLAS, Oct. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Intrepid USA Healthcare Services has announced that Kathy McKnight has agreed to continue her role as the company's chief operations officer. She accepted the position on an interim basis in May 2007.

McKnight has been with Intrepid USA since June 1998, previously serving as the company's regional vice president of operations, overseeing operations in more than 45 locations across eight states.

McKnight is a registered nurse with more than 22 years experience in home care operations, including 15 years at the senior management level. She previously served as senior vice president of the western division for Medshares, where she directed operations in 90 locations and coordinated the acquisition of 49 agencies.

Located at 4055 Valley View Lane in Dallas, Intrepid USA provides home health care, supplemental staffing, independent living, rehabilitation and assisted living services. Intrepid employs more than 3,500 personnel nationwide and operates 104 locations in 22 states.
