Interstate Plastics to Highlight Medical Grade Plastics at OMTEC Chicago

Interstate Plastics Medical Division will be present at the Chicago Orthopaedic Manufacturing & Technology Exposition and Conference (OMTEC), June 12th and 13th, highlighting advancements and continued research and development in medical grade plastics and their growing range of orthopedic applications and uses in the medical industry. During the event, Interstate Plastics’ Medical Division will focus on orthopedics applications, including orthopedic sizing and trial implants. Representatives from the Medical Division will be available to provide a comprehensive overview of their complete line of medical grade plastics for devices including surgical instruments, diagnostic equipment, dialysis units, drug delivery systems, surgical carriers, caddies and trays, dental equipment, instruments and healing caps.

Interstate Plastics Medical Division provides a range of solutions that are FDA, USP Class VI, and ISO 10993 approved, including a variety of plastics with a radio opacifer (XRO) that are x-ray opaque for clear visibility of a component on fluoroscopy and x-rays. XRO materials address new challenges created by minimally invasive and image guided surgery.
