International and Domestic Leaders to Convene to Tackle Health Issues in the Arab American Community

th professionals, policy makers, social workers, students, and community advocates and representatives. Presentations and discussions will focus on improving the understanding of the specific needs and cultural factors concerning the following critical health areas: cardiovascular disease and diabetes, cancer, lifestyle and health outcomes, tobacco use, environment, mental health, and HIV/AIDS. The aim of the conference is to improve the understanding of specific needs. These topics Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits will be available for those who are eligible.

The conference will also offer a Pre-Conference and Post-Conference Workshop.

These workshops will include in-depth presentations and discussions of research, and educational and clinical interventions happening in the Arab community worldwide. International researchers and experts from approximately 22 Arab countries will share their latest findings on global health issues.
