and proven medical therapies are driving the increased demand for hair restoration procedures around the world. According to statistics released from a member survey conducted last year by the ISHRS, approximately 225,800 hair restoration procedures were performed worldwide in 2006, up 34 percent from 2004. Based on the estimated number of 225,800 hair restoration procedures performed in 2006, multiplied by the average fee charged to patients for a procedure, the estimated worldwide market for hair restoration was calculated as €914,692,195 (Euros).
