InterComponentWare and CitiusTech Partner on eHealth Integratio...( WALLDORF Germany and WAYNE Pa. March ...),Health

WALLDORF, Germany and WAYNE, Pa., March 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Global eHealth specialist InterComponentWare (ICW) has partnered with CitiusTech - a leading provider of healthcare technology and consulting services, for the expanded delivery of eHealth integration services. CitiusTech will work as a system integration partner of ICW and offer specialized integration services based on ICW's eHealth Framework. The partnership will also facilitate the development of additional frameworks, tools and utilities based on ICW technology.

ICW and CitiusTech have collaborated on the integration of ICW's Professional Exchange Server (PXS) - a physician portal for viewing aggregated medical data - with Cerner's PowerChart(R) EMR and Quest Diagnostic's Laboratory system for ICW client the Torrance Hospital Independent Practice Association (THIPA) in Torrance, CA. The physicians at THIPA can now view aggregated medical data coming from a variety of disparate systems where clinical data is stored. This access improves patient/provider communications, reduces costs associated with unnecessary tests and procedures, and ultimately enables more informed care delivery.
