Integrative Medicine Expert Announces New Book: Armageddon of the Mind
Date:12/17/2008

Ted. J. Cibik, Ph.D. offers alternative to how-to genre with book that inspires readers toward path of self-cultivation

LEECHBURG, Pa., Dec. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- In his new book, Dr. Ted Cibik poses the scenario: "We all are searching for it. We all want it. We believe that it is out there. If I just had (fill in the blank), things would be perfect. That something is peace of mind."

Armageddon of the Mind is a book about self-discovery and self-cultivation on the frontier of self-realization. Long before action takes place, this book illuminates that the largest war ever fought will be within our own mind: what is good/bad, for us or against us and right/wrong.

It speaks of the consciousness that we have in creating Heaven and Hell within us. All that we perceive externally (our world) is a mirror of what is cultivated internally (our self-talk) -- the macrocosm within the microcosm.

"The component that deludes us from seeing the reality of a situation or true-consciousness is oftentimes rooted in the emotion of fear. The way to obtain peace within is through self-discovery or self-cultivation. This practice eventually leads to true understanding of who you are and thereby obtaining grace within the 'Eyes of God.'

"Fear covers our eyes from reality, not allowing us to 'see' our true divine nature. This same fear leads to stress, and stress causes 70% to 85% of all of our disease in this country," Dr. Cibik said.

Many of our decisions are made out of fear -- fear of rejection, fear of failing, fear of not measuring up, etc. Fear is the "mother of all emotions," and any decision that is made in an elevated fearful state is not always the best one. "This book is a blueprint for allowing yourself to see the truth of what is really going on inside your mind and your heart, cultivating better decisions in your life, relationships and professional
