Instrumentation Laboratory Announces 'ILeader Panel' of Experts as Part of 50th Anniversary Program

Dr. Sohrab Mansouri, Staff Scientist: Dr. Mansouri brings over 20 years of field experience to IL, where his focus has been the industry-leading GEM(R) family of critical care analyzers. As an expert in quality assurance processes, he was involved in the development of the Intelligent Quality Management (iQM(R)) systems, the industry standard for quality control, and its application to both the GEM Premier(TM) 3000 and GEM Premier 4000. Dr. Mansouri also developed numerous sensors and has written over 30 publications in the field and authored/coauthored seven patents for improving sensor performance and calibration and reagent stability. He received the 'Technical Innovation Award' from Mallinkckrodt Headquarters in 2002. Dr. Mansouri holds a BS and MSc in Chemical Engineering and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan.

Dr. Mark Triscott, Vice President of R & D, Reagent Development: Dr. Triscott has been in Hemostasis R&D for more than 20 years, joining the executive group at IL in 2006. His work has been featured in over 20 peer-reviewed publications and chapters, and he has authored/coauthored three patents in U.S. and foreign filings. A member of several professional societies, with special training in various industry subjects, and an author/contributor to more than 50 published abstracts and invited presentations, Dr. Triscott holds a BS and PhD in Microbiology from the University of Queensland in Australia.

Stephen Trotta, Vice President of R & D, Instrument Development: Stephen Trotta has over 20 years of experience in advanced engineering development, specializing in the design and development of automated instrumentation in the areas of electrical, mechanical, software, optical and systems design.
