HBO is supporting a multi-part campaign focusing on Alzheimer's disease, its causes, symptoms, treatment and possible cures. Hoffman and Ryan take us inside the making of "The Alzheimer's Project", which includes four HBO documentaries and a nationwide community-based outreach campaign.

Rainmaker, hosted by WebmasterRadio.FM founders Daron Babin and Brandy Shapiro Babin, discussed the world of Alzheimer's disease with the series producer John Hoffman and neuropsychologist, Dr. Laurie Ryan, who appeared on the series.

John Hoffman give some background on the HBO documentary "The Alzheimer's Project", a series of four documentaries on living with and learning more about this mysterious and still incurable disease. Hoffman explains how the subject hit home being the son of an Alzheimer's patient.
Dr. Laurie Ryan delved into the research that was conducted during the taping of the series, and goes into a discussion of how the documentary dealt with issues like medications and care giving. They were later joined on the show by Dr. Mark Agronin, a board-certified physician who specializes in Alzhemier's treatment.
