Inquisit Offers Continuing Education Summer Camps

Amerinet Inc., a leading national healthcare solutions organization, announced the debut of Continuing Education (CE) Summer Camps, administered through Inquisit®, Amerinet’s strategic education partner, for nursing and nutrition professionals.

“In an effort to better meet the CE needs and wants of healthcare professionals during the busy summer season, we conducted a short survey with our customers,” stated Dee Morgillo, vice president of Inquisit. “The survey results revealed that many of our customers were interested in obtaining multiple contact hours in one block of time during the summer season as opposed to participating in our usual one-hour activities. Therefore, staying true to Inquisit’s mission of being responsive to the needs of healthcare professionals, we are launching two summer camps this year.”

Each summer camp is a one-day webcast, broken into concurrent activities, so participants can receive real-time instructional education at an accelerated pace. Inquisit is offering the following summer camps:

  • Dietary Summer Camp on July 25, 2013. The first 90 minute activity is The Obesity Challenge: Aging, Obesity and Long Term Care. The second 90 minute activity is Cut Your Food and Labor Costs Now. Register at http://www.inquisit.org/dietarycamp.
  • Nursing Summer Camp on August 8, 2013. The first 60 minute activity is Sepsis Recognition and Management…Have You Heard the News. The second 60 minute activity is Vitamins for Nurturing the Nursing Soul. And the third 60 minute activity is Bundle Practices and Beyond: Strategies to Eliminate HAIs. Participants who successfully complete a summer camp will receive three hours of continuing education. In addition, Amerinet members receive special pricing of $179 – a savings of $40.
