Inova Health System CEO J. Knox Singleton Keynote at 11th Annual World Health Care Congress

The 11th Annual World Health Care Congress, April 7-9, 2014 in Washington, D.C., is pleased to announce J. Knox Singleton, CEO of Inova Health System, will be a featured keynote presenter and address how partnerships and collaborations are driving the health care business model forward.

Inova is among the nation’s most integrated and most wired health care delivery systems, and is one of the largest in the Washington, D.C. region. Through Mr. Singleton’s stewardship for the past 25 years, Inova has pursued its not-for-profit mission of providing world-class healthcare to all members of its diverse community, regardless of ability to pay.

Specifically, Mr. Singleton’s panel will:

  • Examine the strategic thinking behind partnerships and collaborations, including how leaders from all sectors of health care are positioning initiatives for optimal uptake and success.
  • Understand current efforts between sectors to support the move toward value and quality.

The health care veteran will be joined on the panel by Victor Dzau, MD, president and CEO of Duke University Medical Center and Health System.

The World Health Care Congress is also pleased to welcome Inova Chief Financial Officer Richard Magenheimer to the program. He will address “Living the Goals of the Triple Aim: Innovative Strategies and New Initiatives to Achieve Long-Term, Sustainable Costs Savings” as part of the Hospital and Health System Summit. Mr. Magenheimer joined Inova in 1987 as Vice President, Financial Operations and has served as CFO since 1992.

In addition to his keynote presentation, Mr. Singleton will be signing copies of his book, “Sustainability for Healthcare Management: A Leadership Imperative.”
