Innovative New Program Offers Free Online Services to Urologists
Date:11/11/2008

Urologychannel.com, a leader in patient education information and marketing services for urologists since 1998 announces the launch of its Online Marketing Center (OMC). The new Center offers free services to help urologists maximize their ability to use the Internet to educate patients and improve their practice website's search engine presence.

Northampton, Mass. (Vocus) November 11, 2008 -- Urologists who are interested in using the Internet to educate patients, attract new patients, and streamline office procedures can now get free resources at urologychannel's new Online Marketing Center (OMC). For the past 10 years, urologychannel has provided online services for physicians through its subscription websites and its patient education website of the same name. The OMC complements these services and is intended for all urologists who want to help online health care consumers and promote their urology practice, including urologists with their own websites and those who do not already have websites.

The OMC offers a wide range of promotional tools. Physicians who subscribe to urologychannel's full-service website plan can access all the utilities and supercharge their online promotion efforts by scheduling website redesigns, requesting search engine optimization [SEO consultations, and getting custom-printed, offline, traffic-building promotional materials, et.al. Physicians with their own websites will also find SEO-enhancing tools in the OMC. All urologists who visit will benefit by opting to be listed in urologychannel's highly-ranked physician finder, MDLocator. Urologychannel receives nearly 10,000 visitors per day.

"All of the services in the Online Marketing Center are free," states Dr. Stanley Swierzewski III, the founder and CEO of urologychannel, "and any urologist can benefit from them. The information required at registration isn't used for marketing purposes; it is only used to verify the physician's credentials. I founded urologychannel ten years ago to help people who were suffering in silence with urologic conditions use the anonymity of the Internet to research their condition and seek the care of a urologist. Our website clients receive the biggest benefit from the offerings in the Center—because the highest value services are reserved for them — but the other services in the Center are also very beneficial. The more urologists who use them, the more patients we can help."

Dr. Swierzewski adds, "Urologychannel is highly ranked in search engines for several urological terms and many of our individual physician practices websites are also at the top of search engine results pages. Every day, health care consumers who are seeking a urologist online find urologychannel."

Other services in the OMC include: physician profile pages, the ability to promote clinical trials, and an SEO Tips Newsletter, et. al.

Urologychannel.com is published by Healthcommunities.com, Inc., a privately-held company founded in 1998. Healthcommunities.com, which serves health care consumers searching for reliable information on the Internet, is a Physician-Developed and Monitored™ collection of online communities that provides resources to consumers and patient education website services to health care providers.
