Innovative New Dental Implant Launched by Nobel Biocare Designed to Revolutionise Replacement Teeth Procedures
Date:5/6/2013

Middlesex, England (PRWEB) May 07, 2013

All-on-4™ implants, a pioneering new way of securing replacement teeth, has been launched as a feasible and pain-free alternative to dentures.

A new technique designed to provide a viable solution for securing replacement teeth has been launched by dental research and development company Nobel Biocare.

The All-on-4™ technique consists of four dental implants placed in either the upper or lower jaw, securely supporting the substitute teeth so they will stay remain in place under any circumstances. The innovative new technique also creates a replacement root which is connected to a person's jaw bone, allowing for a long-term, permanent solution.

The company conducted extensive research before launching the product, which essentially removes the need for bone-graft surgery. Unlike dentures, the procedure will give users a set of permanent teeth which look and feel natural and which don't fall out at the wrong moment. They also offer a stable bite and people who undergo the procedure can eat and drink anything. The lack of dental plate is an added bonus, as the taste of food and drink is not obscured. The procedure also removes the need for creams and adhesives. And as the teeth stay in place at all times, there is no need for nightly removal, care or maintenance.

The treatment is performed under a local anaesthetic and there is very little pain, with most patients usually able to return to work the following day and a maximum of two or three days' recovery for others.

Following the initial consultation, the procedure can be done in a day, with a couple of follow-up appointments recommended to check the results. Across the UK dental implants can be put in place by any qualified dentist, b
