InnoVision and The Danse Team Up to Tell the Story of Cutting Edge Technology Through 3D Animation
Date:12/18/2012

Memphis, TN (PRWEB) December 18, 2012

When an established 3D animation and illustration company combines forces with an innovator of products for orthopaedists, the result is a better understanding of new and/or complex products and ultimately a faster adoption of those products. Such collaboration recently took place when Memphis-based The Danse gave animated life to a revolutionary tool InnoVision, Inc. created—the N-Force Fixation System.

According to Madeline Ward, President and CEO of The Danse, Inc., The Danse doesn't often get the opportunity to share their work because of the confidential and proprietary nature of the content.

“In the last year, 80 percent of our business has involved super cool projects we are not allowed to show to anyone because of non-disclosure agreements,” Ward said. “These projects have involved advanced training simulations for very large companies on a variety of fronts, from medical to shipping, and some very impressive stereoscopic 3D animations.”

InnoVision’s Dr. Timothy Browne stated that one of the most vital aspects of The Danse’s instructional animation is that it fills a huge void in educating the surgeons and sales representatives that carry their products and provides hospital staff with understanding about how their products work.

“That has always been a tremendous challenge in the orthopaedic industry,” Browne said. “We have found that we can accomplish more with a minute or two of animation than with any other medium. The Danse did an incredible job for us. Their animations have been extremely effective in capturing attention and explaining this new technology in an interesting and appealing manner. Of all our marketing material, we get by far the greatest positive feedback from the animation that The Danse produced for us.”

Specifically, The Danse’s animation has helped introduce the N-Force Fixation System. This evolution is the first cleared fixation screw that has bone void filler delivery capability. N-Force allows surgeons to stabilize bone fractures from the inside and put patients on the road to recovery faster. Such breakthroughs from InnoVision are the norm. After all, its owner and chief executive officer is Dr. Toni Russell, a surgeon responsible for many of the hardware and technique advances used in orthopaedic surgery today.
