Infertility Survivor Creates Symbolic Pendant to Honor the Journey.
Date:10/29/2008

Life Medals has created sterling silver and 14k gold pendants intended to

reframe the perception of infertility.

APPLETON, Wis., Oct. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- An estimated 7 million women struggle with infertility. Life Medals, LLC has introduced the Fertility Hope(C) pendant created for these women, calling them "Infertility Survivors." The fine sterling silver and solid 14k gold pendants feature a heart within a spiral surrounded by the words "resilience, hope, courage, love" are now available for sale exclusively on its new website http://www.lifemedals.com

Founder and CEO, Patrice Behrend states, "Infertility can wreak havoc on relationships, self-esteem, finances, and your body. Studies have shown the depression and anxiety caused by infertility is on the same level of people fighting cancer and heart disease. Infertility is often trivialized and misunderstood by family and friends, which adds to the pain and isolation. The mission of Life Medals is to validate and encourage Infertility Survivors to take pride in their journeys and to remove the shame and stigma of infertility."

Behrend understands the need first hand. "During my vicious cycle of hope and disappointment month after month, year after year I searched for something tangible to honor my efforts and acknowledge that what I was going through mattered, regardless of the outcome. I didn't find it, so I created it! I see a day coming soon when the Fertility Hope(C) pendant will be a common symbol of strength just as the pink ribbon has become for breast cancer."

Join Life Medals, LLC to raise awareness and show support for the millions of Infertility Survivors. For more information or to purchase the Fertility Hope(C) pendant, visit the company's website, http://www.lifemedals.com.
