Date:12/12/2012

Indianapolis, IN (PRWEB) December 12, 2012

Indesign, LLC, a nationally recognized engineering design firm specializing in electronic product development, has announced an increased focus on and experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), a feature of Bluetooth 4.0 wireless radio technology that is also being rebranded Bluetooth SMART by the Bluetooth SIG.

The increased market demand for battery powered embedded electronic devices to have wireless connectivity has motivated technology providers to come out with BLE solutions. The healthcare, fitness, consumer and security markets have an increased demand for the capability. Indesign answers this demand by adding engineers and capabilities that enable and support clients to embed BLE into their product solutions.

Indesign specialists design and implement BLE hardware and software solutions. Indesign’s RF engineers are experienced in developing chip-level and module level solutions that enable end-products to incorporate BLE into their solutions while running on batteries as small as a coin-cell.

Indesign’s RF software experts can implement BLE stacks as well as develop BLE custom firmware. Implementations include dual-mode Bluetooth SIG branded Bluetooth Smart Ready solutions for a hub like a PC or tablet, as well as BLE (Bluetooth Smart) stand-alone products. In addition to the stack layer, Indesign engineers develop custom system level software and firmware solutions.

Indesign’s RF hardware experts design BLE solutions that require long battery life, improved range and higher sensitivity. Indesign’s RF antenna design experience improves clients’ designs by better utilizing entire system and creative antenna designs.

Indesign maintains relationships with many major semiconductor suppliers that bring single-radio and multi-radio solutions to the market. Due to th
