InVitria Headlines Sponsorship of WilBio's Waterside Conference

Supplier of high performance cell culture media components will reveal significant advantages of its products at the 14th International Meeting of The Waterside Conference, April 20-22 in San Francisco.

Fort Collins, CO (PRWEB) April 9, 2009 -- InVitria's line of high performance cell culture media components used for mammalian cell culture will be showcased at the upcoming Williamsburg BioProcessing Foundation The Waterside Conference on April 20-22, 2009, in South San Francisco.

Regarded as one of the leading events addressing scale-up and production issues facing the bioprocessing industry, the 2009 Waterside Conference comes at an opportune time for InVitria to share its product advantages with commercial biomanufacturers.

InVitria's Cellastim (recombinant human serum albumin) and Lacromin (recombinant Lactoferrin) have been used by large-scale commercial manufacturers to significantly improve CHO cell growth and productivity. Cellastim also increases hybridoma cell growth and monoclonal antibody production.

InVitria's Director of Cell Culture, Dr. Steve Pettit, will present two posters at the conference revealing the optimization benefits of InVitria's Cellastim in CHO and hybridoma cell lines. "Recent research from our own work and that of customers shows substantial improvements in the speed of cell line development and seed-train expansion using InVitria's recombinant product," said Dr. Pettit.
