"Without the support of the Veterans Administration, none of this would be possible. They were genuinely concerned and provided timely assistance and programs that have been instrumental in my success" says Mr. Sledge.
He expresses gratitude to the Veterans Administration's transitional housing program that gave him a place to live after the downsizing of his company forced him into homelessness. Homeless Veterans are provided a clean safe place to live while they rebuild their lives. Each Veteran is assigned a case Manager whom individually plots a course to help the Veteran regain his place in society.
The department of Veterans Affairs also provided Mr. Sledge with business management training through its VRAP (Veterans Retraining Assistance Program). He was able to parlay the formal business training with his connections and experience in the moving labor industry to found Veterans Moving Help.
The public has embraced Veterans Moving Help and they are now hiring! They are seeking U.S. military Veterans that are experienced Movers. These jobs consist of loading/unloading, packing/unpacking of rental trucks to include Budget, Penske and UHaul and moving trailers and containers such as ABF and PODS. Furniture moving experience is a must.
Veterans Moving Help sincerely thanks President Barack Obama and First lady Michelle Obama for their tireless support of Veterans.
