Impact with Martin Sheen Reporting on Alternative Energy Resources

The producers of Impact with Martin Sheen are pleased to announce a July debut for a new report showing audiences how scientists and engineers are working to satisfy America’s energy demands with alternative sources.

Impact Martin Sheen is an independently produced television series airing in markets around the country on public television. The program is hosted by the legendary Martin Sheen, who is marking the start of his second half-century in American entertainment in 2013. Mr. Sheen has developed a reputation as one of Hollywood’s most respected actors during a career that includes more than 60 film appearances.

Martin Sheen Impact is talking to researchers and engineers around the country about the role alternative energy will play in the future. With fossil fuels in finite supply, finding new sources of energy will be a crucial part of reducing future energy costs. In a new report from Martin Sheen PBS, audiences will see how solar and wind power are already showing results in some parts of the country and how scientists are working to improve the technology for wider use of these promising energy sources.
