Impact Urgent Care Announces New Registration Option
Date:8/7/2013

San Antonio, TX (PRWEB) August 07, 2013

Impact Urgent Care is pleased to announce new registration options for patients. In an effort to further minimize patient wait time, patients can now register online to be placed in a virtual waiting room. They will receive text updates notifying when they are next in line. Once the text message has been received, the patient should head to the clinic immediately to be seen by a health care professional. Patients are encouraged to register online at http://www.impacturgentcare.com.

Urgent care facilities are the most convenient avenues to take when someone gets sick. No one wants to wait in the emergency room for routine health needs. A comprehensive urgent care facility typically offers a full range of affordable services for their patients even when they’re feeling fine. Routine services provided by urgent care clinics include flu shots, immunizations, tuberculosis tests, travel related needs, pregnancy tests, drug screening, alcohol testing and more. Some facilities may offer on site x-rays and lab testing. Both which provide the ultimate in patient convenience and comprehensive care.

If a child needs a sports physical or immunization, don’t worry about taking them out of school or missing work. With extended hours throughout the week, Impact Urgent Care is the right walk-in clinic to handle these needs.

“Parents pack all they can into each day and with work and school schedules, getting to a doctor’s appointment during traditional weekday hours is not always possible,” said Linda Ratner, CEO/President of Impact Urgent Care in San Antonio. “Urgent care clinics are open evenings and weekends for quality medical care for non-sick health needs.”

Ratner also recommends choosing a facility that is certified by the Urgent Care Association Of America and is staffed by experienced doctors and nurses who are committed to quality care and high procedural standards. For more information about the many services offered by Impact Urgent Care, please visit their website.
