WINNIPEG, Aug. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - IMRIS (TSX: IM) announced today that it will be installing its fully integrated intraoperative imaging suite IMRISneuro at Central DuPage Hospital (CDH) in Winfield, Illinois, a suburb west of Chicago. Installation of this leading edge technology is planned for early 2009.

CDH, one of the fastest growing hospitals in the region, will be the first in Chicago to implement this revolutionary imaging technology. Recognized nationally as a leader in technology and patient safety, CDH has made IMRISneuro an integral component in the continued expansion of its Neurosciences Institute.

Central DuPage Hospital will be one of only 18 hospitals in the world to house IMRISneuro; a fully integrated operating room that combines a one-of-a-kind movable high-field MRI with the IMRIS surgical information management system.
