This week, the IHI Board of Directors will engage in strategic, five-year planning for the organization, discussing IHI’s global scope of work and the ideal programming mix needed to address some of the most pressing needs in health and health care improvement today and going forward.

“We are thrilled to welcome such an esteemed group of individuals to the IHI Board,” said Derek Feeley, President and CEO of IHI. “The experience, expertise, and leadership they each bring is crucial at this pivotal time for health and health care. With so many competing priorities, it’s more important than ever to examine and refine how IHI can best help leaders and frontline clinicians meet today’s challenges, while ensuring that patient safety remains a top priority. We are confident that our board, led by Michael Dowling, is more than ready to help us drive forward IHI’s mission to improve health and health care for all.”
