IEHA and UMass Lowell Recognize Activeion as a High Performance Cleaning Product

The International Executive Housekeepers Association's (IEHA's) voluntary fee-based program tests green product performance on real-world soils.

Lowell, MA (PRWEB) April 22, 2010 -- The Activeion electrolyzed or activated water sprayer has been recognized by the University of Massachusetts Lowell (UMass Lowell) TURI Lab as a High Performance Cleaning Product (HPCP) under the International Executive Housekeepers Association's (IEHA's) voluntary fee-based program which tests green product performance on real-world soils. Activated water proved to clean as well or better than common chemical-based glass and all-purpose cleaners, and also rated well in several other performance categories. The Activeion test report summary was published in the April 2010 issue of Executive Housekeeping Today.

According to Beth Risinger, CEO and Executive Director of IEHA: "IEHA is now engaged in a product performance-testing program with UMass Lowell's Toxics Use Reduction Institute (TURI) Laboratory to verify and validate the cleaning efficacy of green products; also known as the High Performance Cleaning Product (HPCP) testing program. IEHA will not issue or promote a formal logo for use on products or product packaging since it would be viewed as another form of green product certification. Rather, it will simply promote the value of performance testing and the TURI lab's work, then publish the results of tests (at IEHA's, the client's, and TURI's discretion) to provide solid s
