IDE Technologies Signs Contract Worth Over 100 Million Euros to Supply a Desalination Plant to Australia

Established in 1965, IDE Technologies is a world leader in water desalination. Jointly owned (50% each) by Israel Chemicals and the Delek Group, it specializes in commercial applications of thermal and membrane technologies for desalinating and converting sea- and brackish water to drinking and process water. Since its establishment the company has supplied more than 385 plants of different types and capacities, which supply high quality desalinated water to industries, mines, refineries, power stations and for urban and agricultural use. Spanning 40 countries on all continents, IDE's plants produce more than 1,600,000 cubic meters /day.
