Purchase of the X-Series 2200 is the second contract awarded to IDC in

Pakistan

CALGARY, June 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - IDC (Imaging Dynamics Company Ltd.) (TSX: IDL), the global leader in the rapidly growing market for digital radiography, today announced that it has begun implementation of a contract awarded by the Government of Pakistan to install the X-Series 2200 digital radiography (DR) systems in eight A-Class military hospitals. The contract was awarded by the government and recognized by IDC in the fourth quarter of 2007. The X-Series uses IDC's third generation of digital X-ray technology, which provides high quality images using low dose and has a very low cost of ownership compared to traditional film X-ray technology. This is the second contract that IDC has been awarded to provide its state-of-the-art DR systems to hospitals in Pakistan.

IDC works in conjunction with its regional partner Meximp Technologies for delivery and ongoing service and support of this contract. According to Syed Nooruddin SHAH, Managing Partner of Meximp Technologies, "This award is the culmination of a rigorous evaluation process at the institutional level and with many key opinion leaders in Pakistan. This has been a tremendous achievement for both IDC and Meximp Technologies."

In choosing IDC's X-Series 2200, the government of Pakistan has demonstrated its commitment to digital radiography as the technology on which to build its radiology infrastructure. "This success reinforces IDC's presence in a country that is making an ongoing investment in innovative medical technology, and confirms the acceptance of Canadian companies as welcome trading partners in the region," commented Jesse Malhotra, IDC's General Manager for EMEA Region.

The X-Series 2200 utilizes IDC's proprietary CCD-based technology that is the result of more than 10 years of engineering research and development. It is the third generation
