ICx Technologies and Siemens Medical Solutions Diagnostics Enter In Vitro Diagnostics Development and License Option Agreement

WASHINGTON, Oct. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- ICx Technologies, a developer of advanced technology solutions for homeland and military security, announced today that it has entered into a new development and license option agreement with Siemens Medical Solutions Diagnostics to develop diagnostic sensors. The goal is to generate new diagnostic tests based on proprietary enzyme-polymer chemistries developed by ICx, and know-how for use in Siemens' blood gas analyzer systems.

Under the terms of the agreement, ICx will receive development milestone payments as well as upon exercise of the option royalties on worldwide net sales from any successfully developed products. Neither the financial terms nor the diagnostic target were disclosed.
