Hydro Med Announces the Stop Snoring Program
Date:1/8/2013

When the partner is kept awake by loud snoring, they can suffer the same bad effects as persons who snore. There is evidence that the partner will develop loud snoring too, because the snoring noise has caused poor sleep, stress and overeating.

The reason for Hydro Med’s Anti-snoring Program is that so little is published on simple means of reducing snoring. From what you see on the internet, you would think that surgery is the only possible solution. Of the 5,830,000 Google listings on snoring, I only found one non-surgical listing on page one.

Food causes snoring! If you eat just before going to bed, your stomach can make excess acid that comes up to your throat and causes swollen tissue. Here is a cure that is easy enough: wait three hours after eating before going to sleep.

Studies show that just doing tongue exercises may be all that is needed. Even just blowing the Didgeradoo may be enough!

When the nose is blocked, that is a common cause of snoring. When the nasal tip droops, it obstructs the airway. Taping the tip of the nose up opens the airway and stops snoring.

Just your body position may be the cure. Sleeping on the left side can be a cure because snoring comes when the soft palate and tongue fall back by gravity. Simply secure a tennis ball to the back so that you are nudged when you lie on your back.
