Hospira to Host 2009 Investor Day

LAKE FOREST, Ill., Sept. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Hospira, Inc. (NYSE: HSP), a leading global specialty pharmaceutical and medication delivery company, today announced that it will host its 2009 Investor Day event in downtown Chicago on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2009. The company's senior leadership team and additional members of management will be participating in the event.

A streaming audio webcast of the event, together with the slide presentations, will be available on the Investor Relations section of Hospira's Web site at www.hospirainvestor.com. The presentations are expected to begin at 8 a.m. Central time and conclude at approximately 3 p.m. Listeners should log on approximately 10 minutes before the start time to ensure proper computer setup for accessing the webcast. In addition, the slides accompanying the presentation will be available on the Hospira Web site at 8 a.m. Central time September 17. An archived webcast will be available on the Hospira Web site approximately 24 hours after the conclusion of the event for 30 days following the event.
