Hospice Savannah to Hold 22nd Annual Tree of Light Memorial Gathering

Hospice Savannah will hold their 22nd annual Tree of Light candle lighting and memorial gathering at 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1 by the band shell in Forsyth Park, bordered by Gaston Street on the north, Drayton Street on the east, Park Avenue on the south, and Whitaker Street on the west in Savannah.

There is no charge to attend but donations can be made to support the bereavement counseling freely offered to the community by Hospice Savannah’s Full Circle staff and volunteers. Judy Ochsner will speak at the event, while music will be provided by soloist Roger Moss and harpist Leslie Adair. Outdoor seating and post-event refreshments will be provided also. The rain location is at Trinity United Methodist Church, located at 225 West President St. For more information, visit, or call 912-629-1096.

Full Circle, a Center for Education and Grief support, offers support to any grieving adult or child in the Coastal Empire. Support is offered at no charge as a community service of Hospice Savannah. They are a member agency of the United Way of the Coastal Empire, National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization, and the Georgia Hospice and Palliative Care Organization.
