Hopkins Medical Products Announces HMP Gives Campaign in Support of Healthcare Charities

Baltimore, Maryland (PRWEB) July 22, 2013

Hopkins Medical Products has announced the official launch of its corporate charity initiative, HMP Gives. HMP Gives is a joint venture between Hopkins Medical Products and several respected non-profit charitable organizations within the healthcare industry. Through the program, a portion of the proceeds from sales of specific Hopkins brand medical products are donated to various charity partner organizations. At present, Hopkins has partnered with two charitable organizations to launch the HMP Gives initiative and there are three Hopkins brand products that are involved in the program.

“HMP Gives is our way of inviting our valued customers to make meaningful contributions to amazing charitable causes simply by purchasing the high quality Hopkins brand products that they have been buying for years,” said C. Louis Klug III, Vice President and General Manager. “We have aligned some of our Hopkins brand products with relevant charities and a portion of the proceeds from every sale of those items will be donated to one of our HMP Gives Charity Partners.”

A portion of the proceeds from sales of the Hopkins 2-in-1 Baby Scale and the Hopkins Featherweight Baby Scale will benefit Birth Defect Research for Children, Inc. Birth Defect Research for Children’s mission is to protect future generations by finding the causes of preventable birth defects through their innovative research project, the National Birth Defect Registry. And for every Hopkins Newborn & Mom Pulse Ox Kit sold, HMP Gives will donate a portion of the proceeds to Little Hearts, Inc. Little Hearts is a national organization providing support, education, resources, networking, and hope to families affected by congenital heart defects.

Hopkins will continue to expand the HMP Gives program to include additional Hopkins brand medical products and new charity partners as new opportunities are identified.
