Hope For The Warriors Builds on Staff and Office Space in Chicago to Support Career Transition for Vets
Date:7/22/2014

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) July 22, 2014

Hope For The Warriors® is excited to announce the addition of Matthew Baffoe to their Chicago staff. This addition comes in tandem with new office space donated by Taff Construction Incorporated (TCI). Hope For The Warriors® is a national nonprofit organization that assists combat wounded service members, their families, and families of the fallen who have sustained physical and psychological wounds in the line of duty.

Baffoe’s work will support programs within Career Transition & Education. He is an alumnus of Loyola University, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication. He worked as a Business Manager for the City of Chicago Committee on Finance before later receiving his Master’s Degree in Education at St. Xavier University. He then joined the Teacher’s For Chicago Program, a two-year initiative to recruit business professionals to the occupation of teaching.

Baffoe has previously owned and operated his own business, You’ve Got a Guy, Inc., working closely with the city of Chicago and outer suburbs on building management projects. His commitment to the city of Chicago will continue through his new position as Programs Manager for Career Transition & Education with Hope For The Warriors®. Baffoe’s position will concentrate on connecting professional opportunities for service members and veterans as they transition to the civilian career realm.

The new Hope For The Warriors® office in Chicago is part of a plan to extend services to military families in the Midwest. The new office space is located at 10932 S. Western Ave. in the Chicago suburb Oak Lawn.

The mission of Hope For The Warriors® (http://www.hopeforthewarriors.org) is to enhance the quality of life for post
