Home Care Delivered, Inc. Launches a New Vacuum Therapy Category to Service Patients with Erectile Dysfunction

Virginia-based Home Care Delivered, Inc. announces the launch of the EliteCustom® Vacuum Therapy System as a conservative treatment option for patients with Erectile Dysfunction (ED)

Richmond, VA (Vocus) February 22, 2010 -- Home Care Delivered, Inc. announces a new Vacuum Therapy Supply Program with the launch of the EliteCustom® Vacuum Therapy System, manufactured by Augusta Medical. Vacuum Therapy is a non-invasive treatment option for ED that is covered by Medicare and other insurance plans for qualified patients.

ED affects an estimated 30 million men nationwide and it is estimated that up to 75% of men with diabetes will experience at least some degree of ED during their lifetime.

“Because of the strong correlation between Diabetes and ED, the Vacuum Therapy Category was a natural fit to extend our product offering for current and future patients,” said Carol Muratore, Chief Sales Officer & Executive V.P. of Marketing. “We are a company dedicated to helping our patients improve their quality of life, and the EliteCustom® is certainly a quality of life product.”

Vacuum Therapy is 98% effective and is a proven method of sexual enhancement for men with ED. Vacuum Therapy systems use gentle negative pressure to mimic the body’s natural function and help patients achieve an erection. Often the oral medications used to treat ED cannot be used due to how they affect a person’s blood pressure or because they are too costly. Vacuum Therapy is a proven, non-invasive treatment option that is simple, safe, effective and affordable.

“We understand that ED is a sensitive topic for patients to discuss; however, we want our customers who may have ED to know that they are not alone and that there are treatment options available,” said Director of Clinical Resources Terri Decker. “It is important for patients experiencing ED to talk with their physician to determine the cause and discuss treatment options. Vacuum Therapy is an effective alternative to oral medications or surgery for many men.”

Home Care Delivered is committed to supporting patients managing chronic conditions from home through the consistent delivery of medically necessary supplies delivered when and where the patient needs them. In addition to Vacuum Therapy products, the Company offers a complete selection of diabetes testing, incontinence, ostomy, urology, and wound care supplies.
