Holland & Knight Welcomes MARC Associates - Experts in Health Care and Intergovernmental Policy - to the Firm's Public Policy & Regulation Practice

Daniel Maldonado joins as a Senior Policy Advisor. Maldonado is the former CEO and founder of MARC. He has over 30 years of federal appropriations and budget experience and spent 11 years as Chief of Staff for Congressman Edward Roybal, who was one of the "cardinals" on the House Appropriations Committee. He assisted the Congressman in forming the Congressional Hispanic Caucus and the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials. He also served in the Carter Administration as Director of Legislation for ACTION/Peace Corps.

Eve Maldonado O'Toole joins as a Senior Policy Advisor. O'Toole brings over 16 years of Federal lobbying experience, with a particular specialty in local government advocacy, regulatory, appropriations and policy development, and in local public-private partnerships. She represents leading local and regional government institutions, including the cities of San Francisco and Seattle, LA County Community Development Commission, San Mateo County & the League of California Cities, where she previously served as Washington Representative.

Other intergovernmental team members are Jennifer McGee and Dustin McDonald.
